Purpose
The purpose of the Association of Persons is non-profit and specifically includes
The closer personal and scientific connection among scientific personnel worldwide
The promotion and enhancement of academic and cultural activity concerning river-related topics
The provision of consulting services to local authorities in matters where the members have scientific knowledge and expertise
The provision of guidance and support for the academic and career development of young people in the region
Collaboration with other scientific bodies from various countries
The Association maintains autonomous scientific activity
To fulfill its purposes, the Association:
Utilizes the material-technical and human resources, experience, and knowledge of its founding members.
Records and connects academics around the world who wish to become members of the Association.
Holds regular or extraordinary public scientific meetings, either at its headquarters or in other cities or countries, where announcements, lectures, and presentations on scientific topics are made.
Organizes scientific conferences, symposia, seminars, or other related scientific events, either independently or in cooperation with other scientific institutions in Greece or abroad.
Collaborates with public, social, and scientific bodies, legal entities, and organizations—both domestic and international—for the execution of research and study programs aimed at fulfilling the Association’s scientific mission.
Establish and manage and homepage. Publishes scientific books, journals, newsletters, videos, and all kinds of printed and electronic informational materials. Establish the Working Group depends on the needs to execute the missions of association. Grants awards and honors to individuals or legal entities that directly or indirectly contribute to the Association’s goals.
Organizing international activities such as youth university student or scholar summer camps.
Provides scholarships and funds research projects for young scientists to continue their postgraduate studies and research work (provided that funding is available).
